James Gelfat of Equinox Architecture designed these two 2500 square foot residences on a subdivided lot. Separated by a shared courtyard, each mirrored unit is free-standing with no common walls. The four outermost corners of the buildings are adorned with murals by Eva Benjamin. The glass and steel design enhances the connection to the landscaped exterior in an effort to mitigate the typically small yard space in this beach neighborhood. It also provides an abundance of natural light.
